Our use of cookies
Currently, this site does not set cookies. It keeps a single value in your browser's local storage so you are not asked your age on every page. That is the only thing it stores. If the site's approach changes, we will update this page first, along with the date, now Oct 14, 2026.
The age confirmation item
Details of the single item:
- name: age18_ok
- type: localStorage, not a cookie
- purpose: remembers that you passed the 18+ check
- lifetime: until you clear your browser's site data
Because it is local storage, the value is not attached to requests sent to our server, and it holds no name, e-mail or other personal detail. Removing it only means the age prompt returns on your next visit.
The Spribe demo frame
Until you press start, the demo does nothing. After that:
- your browser connects to Spribe's demo server
- Spribe may set cookies or store data needed for the game
- those are covered by Spribe's policies
If you do not want any of this, leave the demo unstarted. The guide itself reads the same either way, and nothing from Spribe is loaded before you click.
Clearing and blocking storage
You can remove the age item and any demo storage by clearing this site's data. In Chrome, look under Privacy and security. In Safari, open the Privacy section and manage website data. In Firefox, go to Privacy and Security and find Cookies and Site Data. Each of these also lets you block third-party cookies.
Menus differ slightly by version.

If we ever change how the site uses cookies or storage, this page will be updated before the change takes effect, and the date will change. Nothing will be added quietly: if a cookie or storage item is ever introduced, it will be named here together with its purpose and how long it lasts. Questions are welcome at [email protected].
